Anyone out there with a chocolate brown hull?
Would like any information that may have been acquired on colour matching the gel coat.

CFS (www.cfsnet.co.uk) have matched gelcoat pigment for me in the past and it’s been ok. They needed a small piece posting to them. I was trying to match my pale blue deck so I sent piece of the cave locker I’d removed when changing the winches. I might be reluctant to cut a piece out of my topsides though!

It might be worth borrowing a RAL colour chart and seeing if there is a close match to any of the standard colours. Knowing the original colour might not help that much as the colour has probably faded quite a bit.

I got in touch and they are sending me all the brown RAL charts. I don’t really know how long RAL has been going though – I’m 1975.

There was a chocolate brown CO32 called Bossy Boots moored up in Yarmouth in April this year if it helps??
