Danbouy stowage

We’ve taken delivery of a new danbouy and I’m rather taken aback by the sheer length of it.
We’ve strapped the customary piece of drainpipe to the pushpit but how to deal with 2 m of whippy fibreglass pole other than strapping it to the back stay? I am already pretty bemused about how I’m supposed to launch the danbouy, horseshoe, light, drogue and kitchen sink within a mile of the MOB.
Any cunning solutions out there?
PS, should have said, we’re not keen on attaching it to the back stay because it could get caught up in the wind vane lines.

Good question. I too need a solution.
Mine used to be in a tube strapped to the quarter, with the flag and whippy bit led into a tube dangling by string from 5 ft up the backstay.
Fine except that it was all too easy to grab it INSTEAD OF the backstay, likely to CAUSE a man-overboard. Several close shaves. So dangerous.
Fortunately my son then solved theproblem because he grabbed it and it broke off.
Still to be replaced, once I have worked out how to stow a new one sensibly.

This is an option, I have one on Concerto. Like auto-lifejackets you do need to service it (check the CO2 bottle and replace the light when expired).
Not used an anger yet (thankfully).
