Please can anybody tell me, when replacing the cabin and fore hatch with new Gebos, should I buy “with flange” or without? And are there any alternatives to Gebo?

I’ve replaced the original GEBO hatches for Lewmar Ocean Hatches. Very pleased with it, no more leaks

Thank you, Christophe. My conclusion from the Lewmar data was that the sizes where not quite compatible – maybe I was mistaken. Any comment?

Hi,

We fitted Gebo hatches last year. One with flange, one without. Both successful, our preference would be flange but both fitted really well and no leaks. (remember to use plenty of sikaflex)

Original Gebo’s didn’t lock on vent, new ones do.
