Forums, Internal Fixtures and Fittings, Holding tank breather

My Contessa 32 has a holding tank, with the breather vent coming out into the bottom of the anchor well. To my mind this does not seem to be ideal.

I am interested in to know if this is commonplace or whether other locations are used.
