I fitted a Spinflo Nelson about 5 years back, mostly because it was a drop-in direct replacement for the old Flavel Vanessa. Have been really pleased with it but I’m sure others are just as good.

I agree with George. The Spinflo looks pretty good.
We fitted a Plastimo Cooker in Polar Star & that worked well.

Hello guys ! At the moment I am looking to replace the old Flavel B 700.
Samourai is from 1976 and has the old type galley: the cooker is on the right hand side.
That does not permit me to go for a normal size cooker because the width of the cooker area is very specific: max 48,50 cm. I am between the Plastimo Neptune 4500, the Nelson Spinflo and the Parker Baby Gas Cooker. All of them at the same price. Any more advice on this subject ?

The only further comment I can offer is that the Nelson Spinflow is still going well.

I had to replace the thermocouple on a couple of the burners but that is the sort of thing that you would expect after a few years use. Also, while the cooker is all stainless steel the fiddles are chromed steel and mine are starting to go rusty, however replacements are available.

Hi George, thanks for the comment.
We finally decided to go for the Spinflo Nelson. It seems to be the best solution.
It fits the measures and a big + is the grill !

Just fitted a Taylors 029 I found on ebay. Fitted nicely into my ’75 co32.
