electrical scheme

Hi All, This is my first post on the forum after I became a member today. One of the reasons to join the association is to tap into the aggregated knowledge of you all, so already many thanks for that…;-) As of September this year, I am the proud owner of a 1979 CO32 (called Puffin). She has some technical and cosmetic items to improve on and one of the most important ones is the electrical system. I was looking for a general electrical scheme on this forum, but didn’t find it. Would there maybe be someone that put his/her scheme on paper? Would be highly appreciated!

Hi Erik.

I’m not sure if there is one. I’m just doing the same thing.

As daunting as it may seam it actually or should be simple.

the original wiring for lighting is separate. Then you have a group of original wires for mast. Then it’s just a matter of identifying your bow and stearn lights. Then your electronics.
I found it very difficult with the original panels in place and ended up cutting them out and pulled the ply panel away. I’ll see if I can add some pics of original wiring.
