I have bought a Sterling Power battery charger and am wondering where to mount it.
Instructions say in a cool and dry place….
Any Thoughts ?

Mine is just inside teh quarter berth against the cockpit side, close above my power switches and close to the batteries.

Depends how you’re going to use it – if you use it when you’re sleeping on board, then hide it away somewhere, particularly if it doesn’t have a night mode and is fan cooled.
Mine is below and aft of the switch panel, works nicely as it has right hand cable entry which go through the “tunnel” bulkhead to the mains gear, and short run to the changeover switch on the forward end of the quarter berth. Having a solar panel in the cockpit when the boat’s not in use means I only use it if we’re living on board and running the fridge but not the engine.

Mine is mounted under the charttable locker. An excellent place and easy wiring.

Yes.
I have just got a charger after years of getting by with a portable. It’s fitted outboard/underneath the chart table as well and I also put a double 13amp socket in there. A handy place but a devil to work in so it is worth thinking out the set up carefully.
