How does one rig a jockey pole?

Thanks

Paul

It clips onto a stainless steel eye that is bolted to the mast about a foot up from the deck (at same height as guard rail). I normally put a loose tie around the pole and the cap-shroud so it can slide up and down as necessary. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately my Jockey Pole shot over the side the other day. Does anyone know the class approved dimensions so I can have a replacement made?
Thank you.

There is not a specified length in the class rules or the boat spec but most jockey poles (bearing out spar) tend to be between 1.8 and 2m long.

Thank you George. There’s not so much of a rush now that the RTI has been cancelled!
