Dear Contessa 32 Owners, Sailors and Friends,

Well the beginning of the end (or if the press is to be believed the end of the beginning) of the largest cessation of yachting since WW2 is in sight and on the 4th of July, or "Super Saturday", we shall be released to a new form of normality which for many of us will see us setting a direct course for our boats to put to sea or for those not yet afloat working double tides in the boat yard to get ready for launch.

As you are no doubt aware the 'new normal' still carries many restrictions for our collective safety and your committee is working hard to deliver some socially distanced group sailing that allows those Contessas that wish to come within hail whilst staying safely apart to do so. As many of the clubs due to host us for either racing or cruising still cannot do so the events will be different, less formal and lacking a physical social aspect BUT they will still be on the water and held with good company so I hope you will join us.

More will follow on the website and facebook as well as on email from the organisers. Of course if you have any ideas on how we can continue to sail or socialise together in these strange times please get in touch.

Wishing you fair winds and good health,

Regards, Mike Sellers
Class Captain
