Contessa 32 PELAGIC sail number 691, built by Jeremy Rogers in 1979 and previously named Rose of Lancaster by the first 2 owners, is being relinquished after 35 years of family cruising. The Contessa 32 has classic lines everywhere admired and though not as roomy as modern boats provides confidence from her seaworthiness. UK VAT paid, no mortgage.
Some points:
The 3-cylinder Volvo D-1F 19hp engine, fitted in 2018 with only 100 hours use, has been professionally maintained, serviced and winterised giving 5 knots cruising speed and is smooth running.
A calorifier provides hot water pumped from a separate insulated water tank.
Solar panels and two lead-acid batteries; NASA monitor.
