Ariel is a 1983 Contessa 38 a Bermudan Cutter designed by David Alan Williams. Since purchasing her in 2010 Alan and Maggie have upgraded:- sails, standing and running rigging, engine, radar, interior soft furnishings, cooker; they have added:- chart plotter (currently Axiom), autopilot, DuoGen wind and water generator, water heating, refrigeration, cabin heating, Darglow feathering propellor and had the cockpit teak replaced.
Once the BBC club boat, Ariel has been well used and well cared for but is now ready new owners
