COCKPIT LOCKER - TEAK TRIM (Round)This e-mail was submitted by Chris Bradley
Hi Robin,
I recently fitted some teak trim to finish off the cockpit lockers on my Co32.

It is a lot nicer than the original rubber trim and I thought some owners may be interested in where I was able to purchase the Teak.
The Teak is supplied in six sections per locker four quarter radius and two straight lengths. The Teak is machined so as to have a channel on the outer side which fits snugly over the edge of the locker.

You will need to open the aperture of the locker vertically by about 4-6mm depending on your particular aperture. They vary from side to side, so I imagine there are many variations boat to boat. This will allow the two quarter radius to be fitted forming a perfect half radius. I used Sikaflex to glue the pieces into place. Then cut the straight sections and fit between the radius.
Once dry you can sand the pieces so that they are all true to each other, then oil or varnish, or whatever.
Cost of the Teak was £55.20
