CONTESSA Racing

Picture of CORAFIN finishing at the Squadron Line during Cowes Week 2006.  There was 26 knots of SW breeze against 3 knots of West setting tide!

It appeared in YACHTING WORLD in October 2006.

There is a very active fleet of racing Contessa 32s, with the main numbers being in the Solent.  There is a full Inshore Series and National Championships and we have our own start at Cowes Week and our own Class in the annual Round the Island race.

Despite the fearsome appearance of the picture above, Contessa 32 racing is well mannered with very few incidents between boats.  The experienced skippers will always make time to coach those joining ... including going out on their boats during races.

We normally berth up together after racing and the social life makes CORAFIN'S finishing roll seem quite tame by comparison.

COME AND JOIN US!
